Hope your day is filled with LOVE
Some random facts about me; I hate to write. I can't spell. I never journal. So, why blog? Well, as many of you know or will soon come to know, my life has taken quite the turn in the past months. My heart is on the mends, although, will never be completely whole again. Therefore, I am constantly looking for ways to comfort this ache. Over these past months, reading other blogs exclaiming stories about life, death, random facts, daily encounters and simple pleasures, have somehow tended to my aching heart and have allowed me to experience small moments of joy. Blogging has allowed our world to capture a small (although sometimes quite large) glimpse into another ones life, creating a thrill that is addictive and slightly contagious! My blog will hopefully nurture that thrill in hopes to offer you a 'front row seat' into my journey through this crazy experience called, life. Life, in the essence of what gives, breaths and sustains. Maybe my blogging will one day attribute to caring for another ones aching heart.

The theme of this winter... SNOW
Sydney has enjoyed a few 'first's' this winter, including sledding down our side yard, although she's not the biggest fan of snow in her face ;)
Giving Snowman a kiss
We are loving the snow but hoping spring is not too far away!
My long lost blog...
I have come to the conclusion (given my last post was dated September 2013) that my life no longer allows the time to blog everyday happenings, (insert sad face) but instead, I can strive to update with a monthly photo spread here and there, mostly for my extended family that does not get to see us often. I also want to do a better job posting updates once our #2 arrives.
A quick catch up over the past few months...
If you haven't heard by now, we are expecting our #2 this May! The Fall was filled with mostly sickness, no fun. Once I was out of the first 15 wks, life improved greatly.
December rolled around and we found out the gender on Christmas Day, announcing the May arrival of Jude Anthony Bender, we are thrilled to have a little man join our family!
Christmas came and went as it always does, but not without stopping and realizing we had much to be thankful for, mainly a new home to celebrate the holiday in with our loved ones. We enjoyed hosting christmas for both my side of the family as well as Eric's parents.
Our home, a work in progress, made cozy this christmas.
Eric in his element christmas morning
Sydney loved her new kitchen to 'cook' in with daddy
The first of what I'm sure will be many princess toys arrived this christmas
Our dinner theme... fancy foods
Again, much much much to be thankful for this Christmas.
