Some random facts about me; I hate to write. I can't spell. I never journal. So, why blog? Well, as many of you know or will soon come to know, my life has taken quite the turn in the past months. My heart is on the mends, although, will never be completely whole again. Therefore, I am constantly looking for ways to comfort this ache. Over these past months, reading other blogs exclaiming stories about life, death, random facts, daily encounters and simple pleasures, have somehow tended to my aching heart and have allowed me to experience small moments of joy. Blogging has allowed our world to capture a small (although sometimes quite large) glimpse into another ones life, creating a thrill that is addictive and slightly contagious! My blog will hopefully nurture that thrill in hopes to offer you a 'front row seat' into my journey through this crazy experience called, life. Life, in the essence of what gives, breaths and sustains. Maybe my blogging will one day attribute to caring for another ones aching heart.

3 Months

You are 3 whole months Jude Boy! (On August 15th)

The past few weeks has brought out your personality in which we are falling in love!  You are 13 lb 4oz.  You now wake in the morning with a bright big smile, ohhhh how I love this.  Although the nights are still a bit rough, you have settled into a bit of a routine.  Bed by 8pm and usually sleeping until 6am or so, but still feeding usually twice during that stretch.  You have managed to hold on to the hair that is left on your head, and yes, it is turning a handsome shade of auburn!  Your eyes remain my favorite, a sparkling bright blue.  I'm beginning to think you may hang onto the blue, but time will tell.  This month you have become active.   You no longer remain in one spot, you love to roll and scoot yourself right off your play mat.   You are starting to tolerate the car a bit better, making it easier to be out and about with your very active 2yr old sister.  You don't seem to need to nap as much as your sister did at this age.  You usually give me 3 good naps a day, sometimes 4.  The swing is still by far your favorite place to nap.  In fact, your crazy mama purchased a travel swing to lug too and from the pool and play dates, the things we do to keep our little ones happy :)   Your giggle may be my favorite and is the sweetest noise to my ears.   We just love you Jude Anthony and can not wait for what next month will hold.
